Privacy Policy of the Business Cobra networking group

The Business Cobra networking group (“BC”) is administered by Business Cobra Ltd but all staff carrying out that administration are seconded from time to time from FPN Limited or Lamella MMC Limited.

We respect your privacy and will only deal with your personal information as set out in this policy. The information that we collect is that which you or your friends or colleagues give usand is limited to your name, any relevant organisation you belong to, your position in thatorganisation, your business address, email and telephone number(s). We also keep a record of any communications you have sent us and of BC events you have attended. We will never disclose your personally identifiable information (“PII”) to a third party unless:

​they too are a member of the BC;

it is necessary in connection with an event to which we have invited you;

we were to transfer administration or management of BC to another which would need it to continue interacting with you;

required to do so by lawful authority or under any of the exemptions contained within the General Data Protection Regulation.

Otherwise, we will use your PII to contact you in connection with the activities of the BC.

We have a legitimate interest in that processing. 

Your PII will be stored securely by us on a server based within the United Kingdom or the EU.

We will at your request tell you what PII of yours we hold and amend or delete it.

We will delete it once you have told us that you no longer wish to be part of the group or we have held it for five years following our last contact from you.

We are regulated by the Information Commissioner’s Office (“ICO”). Should you have any concern about the way in which we are dealing with your PII you may complain to the ICO.
